What Degree is Right for Me?
Cornerstone College of Virginia offers a quick and affordable way to earn the credentials you need.
Bachelor of Religious Studies
With your associate degree and ministry experience applied for credit, you can complete a bachelor’s degree in as few as ten courses.
You can choose any ten courses in Bible, Theology, Christian Education, and more.
Master of Christian Education
36 credits, including our Bible core, 24 credits in education theory and practice, and a capstone thesis project.
You will study courses like Biblical Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Methods, Issues in Christian Education, and Christian Education for an Information Age.
Doctor of Religious Education
40 credits, including Bible core, 16 credits in educational theory and practice, and you dissertation project. (you may choose to write a traditional research dissertation or complete a dissertation project. Ask your Success Coach for more details.)
You will study Philosophy of Christian Education, Theories and Modalities Impacting, Advanced Educational Psychology in CE, and Biblical Integration of Curriculum.
Earn an Affordable Degree
- Our tuition is insanely affordable: $160 per credit for undergraduate, $180 per credit for graduate/doctoral.

Time to Completion
Our fully online degree programs equip students with the education, skills, and training necessary for Christian education. The program is designed around your busy schedule, serving your needs with extreme flexibility and asynchronous courses.
- Our course are 8 weeks long, fully online, and asynchronous.
- In most cases, you can complete an undergraduate degree in less than two years.
- Masters and Doctoral degrees will take about 2 – 2 ½ years to complete.
At Cornerstone, I am able to take courses at cheaper tuition rates than other colleges. Plus, the professors are very friendly and every class feels personal.
