A heartfelt message of love and hope
by CCV registrar Mrs. Audrey Richardson.
It has been a tough few weeks for our household, and as I find myself still in a bit of shock, I know that my mother in law fought the good fight. She held on for two long years, as she battle cancer, and remained steadfast in her love for the Lord. December 12, 2019, will forever be marked in our hearts. But we know that you are dancing on the golden streets in heaven, and rejoicing in the presence of God.
To my mother-in-law Lazalia Richardson, I just wanted you to know that our girls will forever know about you and your unconditional love for the Lord and for everyone you met. I wish you could have been here on earth just a while longer so our children could’ve had you as their spiritual guide. I learned so much from you in the time we spent together, and I will forever cherish what spiritual gifts you’re brought into my life.
Because of you, I will be a better wife to your son, and a better mother to my children.
Because of you, I will be a better wife to your son, and a better mother to my children. I am thankful that you raised an incredible man and that he will be a shining example of all you instilled in him to our children. I will spend my life teaching our children the importance of God. I will share all your stories and your love. Your son and I will miss you greatly, but we are grateful for the time you sacrificed while you were here.
You gave of your time unselfishly to ensure that your grandchildren were taken care of and loved. I have hope that we will see you again in heaven, and I can share all the things we did while you were gone. Love you Ma!
